This is the question, isn't it. And the honest answer is that it's not a calendar decision — it's a your body decision, made together.
At The Chiro Co., the transition from restorative care to wellness care is based on both how you're feeling and what we're seeing on your nervous system scans.
Our goal during restorative care is to help your nervous system become more balanced, regulated, and adaptable. As you progress, we're looking for signs like:
- ✔️Your nervous system scans showing improved balance and function
- ✔️Pain and symptoms significantly improving or resolving
- ✔️Better, more consistent sleep
- ✔️Healthy digestion
- ✔️Improved energy and resilience to stress
- ✔️Feeling like your body is functioning well — not just hurting less
Once your scans and overall health indicate that your nervous system is functioning well and holding those changes, we can begin decreasing the frequency of care and transition into wellness care.
Wellness care is about maintaining the progress you've made, supporting your nervous system through everyday stressors, and helping your body continue functioning at its best.
That last bullet is the one we watch for most closely. Feeling like your body is functioning well — not just hurting less. Anybody can chase a symptom down. We're after something steadier than that.
